I’ve realized that the best way to live life is to really live it. I mean really grab the reigns and go for it. I don’t mean jumping out of an airplane or allowing yourself to be chased by man-eating sharks (if this is your definition of living full, by all means buen provecho, but this may not be the blog for you); in my 31 years here, I’ve just recently learned that all the things you’ve wanted to do, well, you just need to get started. Because, really, why wait?
I love to travel. I write about my experiences when I’m exposed to new places, new cultures, new languages. I was born to see the world and experience the beauty of this oh-so-big and yet still-so-small place. I am most alive when I can be that much closer to understanding what it is we are doing here and the many, many ways in which we are connected.
I’m teaching myself how to cook, I’ve never really cooked before. But I have found a joy that has brought me back to life again, and I want to share my stories, and the ways in which cooking with passion and living with passion really go quite nicely together, and how many of life’s lessons can be learned in the kitchen.
